Cool katzuu's 2011 WRX DGM Hatch

Hey guys,

Just a quick intro on myself: Name's Justin and I am from the Bay Area (Cupertino) and currently live in Irvine after going to school there at UCI and finding a regional job as an auditor for BDO Seidman, LLP. After working there for two years +, I found an accountant job for Apria Healthcare in Lake Forest which is what I'm currently doing.

Anyway, so I ordered the subaru from my friend's subaru dealership up north in Burlingame, CA (near SF) to help 'em out and pretty much have a stress-free purchasing experience. I got about 500 under invoice but with taxes, delivery, shipping, etc... I'm paying about 32k. I'm the first of my family and friends to own a subaru so I'm hoping this works out and is a solid car. My entire family has been driving toyotas and lexuses exclusively... lol.

I don't have plans on modding the engine or anything but am interested in going stage 1 with an accessport after I save up some money haha. I've done window tint, taillight tint, RA mudflaps, blendmount and invisicord V1 install. Check out the pics below! Thanks for looking!

Moar pics on Page 4, 5 & 6!!!!

Nice car! I have the same car as you, but in SSM. I'm also from the same hometown as you! That's an interesting way to mount your V1. I have mine hardwired and suction cupped onto the windshield to the right and behind the rear view mirror. I installed the concealed display in front of the passenger seat belt warning light.

Great deal you got on your WRX. I paid invoice for mine back in August.

Hahaha wow no way you're from Cupertino also? What a crazy coincidence. Is your suction cup mounted onto the littered black dots on top? How is it working out for you (does it stick on the window pretty securely)? At least it's higher up and less visible to cops. Mine is straight under the rear-view mirror lol. If you like how mine was installed and want to ditch the suction cup look, check out Blendmounts for V1. Definitely pricey but it looks really clean imo and should last a lifetime on any future vehicle I'll have.

Yeah it looks like other 2011 wrx owners are having this issue also. As this is a new car.. I'm assuming the wiring was done badly so I'll try and have a look and straighten it out sometime soon. For now, I'll have to live with a signal light on crack haha
