Default MooMooWater {08 AW STi} *bucket seats post #91*

I purchased my first Subaru in middle of Dec from CO and had it shipped to CA. I wasnt even in the market for a new car but the deal that was going on at the time, i just couldn't pass it up. The vehicle is 2008 Aspen White, BBS wheels w/o Nav and 8 miles on the odometer. The arrival date was delayed by 4 days due to severe snow, those 4 days felt like weeks . When it finally arrived at 10pm, i then drove it around aimlessly trying to get myself lost (which failed) for an interesting approach to add miles for the break in procedure. Next day when i woke up i noticed that my car was covered with dead bugs and water stains, so i gave it a good wash and wax. That same day I also added the red pin stripe in the front.

Magnaflow catback

Trunk w/ rubber drawer liner
i got sick and tired of things in the trunk rolling around and scratching the plastic panels. also found out that it stops my spare tire tools to fall of place and make christmas noises in the back.

Blacked front bumper ducts

Decided to paint my ducts matte black
to match with my front. it was pretty easy to remove, a slight pull and it came right off. both installing and taking took no more than 2 min for both.

3 clips that holds the plastic in place.

Different Angles

Final result

Side vent badge covered with flat black vinyl
covered it with flat black vinyl then i traced the "STi" logo with my xacto knife to make the cutout.

Side of the radio bezel covered with flat black vinyl
might cover rest of the silver trim with that same vinyl but scared it might be overkill

center console with flat black vinyl

Now my radio benzel, shift knob and center console all match. i like the darkish silver plastic piece that goes across the dash so i might either make it graphite or leave it as is.
