zzyzx like zzyzx motorsports or no relation? Brembo's can be pretty damn noisy, I wouldn't be too worried about it just yet.

I have a DGM 09 STi myself and have done alot of work to it. With my AEM Intake, Catless DP, and Yimi Pro-tune, I am now getting between 25 and 30 MPG on the freeway. Pretty Impressive considering it now is at almost 20 LBS of boost!

No relation.

I figured it was nothing to worry about since I didn't hear anything on my short trip around the block.

Did you mean the Tuesday meet in LB (Food 4 Less)? I'm planning on going tonight after I get my mudflap bracket reinstalled (MacGyver'd on with zipties right now lol). Are you going?

Side note:
Had this weird metallic clicking/pinging noise after stopping pretty hard yesterday. Drove it back home and parked it. Drove it again a few hours later and the noise was gone. Didn't hear it this morning. Overheated pad?
I meant we meet up at the boys Burger to caravan to LB when we do meet lol... we are going tonight ill pm you my number text me if you wanna roll through with us

Mine do the same thing. Don't worry about it. Aside from the Brembo calipers being noisy, the stock Subaru pads are fairly metallic, so they'll make noise, also.

I recently had to get my e-brake caliper adjusted on my left rear, though, as it had been dragging on my rotor after readjusting itself (perhaps from my little shindig off the track two weeks ago) - just so you know, in case you think it's just dirt under there for any reason, take it apart and look for blue streaks. lol

...Great color choice, btw.

I usually drive 65-70 on the freeway. I increased my tire pressure as well which helps with the increased mileage. The car is operating more efficiently with the pro-tune...I highly suggest you DO NOT USE off-the-shely maps if you get a COBB...my buddy's AW 2010 STI just blew a motor with about 12,000 miles on it using off-the-shelf maps...the Pro-Tune by YIMI is worth every dollar!

Thanks,
JG

haha, I was just saying since there is a car meet there every week as well But I think it's on Thursdays and it's mostly vintage and hotrods kind of a deal.

thanks

yeah, I was looking for blue streaks as a sign of overheating but I didn't see anything so . Figured it was just noisy brakes.

Default 1000 miles!

2/8: 1000 miles! I've bumped the rev buzzer up 1000rpm to 4500rpm now. I'm thinking of getting an AP but from Cobb or from Perrin?

Thanks for the head's up. Sounds like your mods really improved the efficiency of the engine. Where's YIMI based out of?
