Hello SCS!

After waiting 8+ weeks (from 11/15 to 1/18), I picked up my '11 Dark Gray Metallic STI 5-door from Renick Subaru.

options ordered:
- wheel locks
- seat back cargo net
- rear cargo net
- cargo tray
- Homelink and auto-dimming mirror

This is my daily-driver-able-but-mostly-for-the-weekend fun machine.

Build List (planned)
Engine:
- Cobb Accessport
- AEM CAI
- Tomei Expreme equal length headers
- Invidia catted divorced downpipe
- Harman Motive/AQ cat back
- Pro-tuned at Cobb Tuning SoCal (332 hp/362 lb-ft @18psi, 326 hp/329 lb-ft @15 psi) (here)
- Killer B oil pickup and windage tray
- Grimmspeed 3-port EBCS
- Cusco oil catch can (rebreather mode)

Nice! Congrats! I would be terrified to park in your garage, looks like things could fall from any direction, especially the bikes, I see people get scrapes from pedals and stuff all the time in garages.

Thanks guys!

I am loving every second I'm in it.

yeah...the garage. I'm scared of parking in there as well. Not only from stuff falling but the fact my mother loves to put stuff on top of which ever car is in there when she's looking for stuff :O. (She doesn't get the idea that if she didn't have so much crap in there it'd be easier to find, which is where I'll come in this spring and start cleaning out and putting in a garage closet system.

But after I clear bra it it will be going back outside until the junk is gone. Maybe we'll be able to put two cars in there (yeah right).

Congrats on the new STI.

My garage was similar to yours until I got the new car. Had to clean it out to make room for car. Now my car spends every night there.

A bit of an update.

new photo:


I've passed 550 miles. On my second tank of gas and I've been averaging 20 mpg (not that it really matters but I'd like to keep track anyways) with mostly city driving. I find myself enjoying S-mode all the time. i-mode is pretty cool with the up-shift light when I want to cruise around smoothly.

I've installed my R/A flaps. Unfortunately, I had an issue with a front bracket bolt shearing off (!) when the self-locking nut jammed. But I should be getting a replacement back soon.

Still waiting to get back from Magic Film on getting the PPF installed. I'm about to go elsewhere if they don't respond this week.
