Default fiftyunofifty's 15 WRX Build

Hello and welcome to my Journal.

After, my purchase. I headed on over here and finally signed up as a registered user. (lurked before) Spent some time reading through some of the great write ups and reviewing member journals. Wanted to get an idea of what others were doing and what not to do. I also had been looking for someone to work on my car, but not only that. Someone, I could trust, keep me honest and help me enhance the car and not break it.

I came across a member journal that called out Corner Speed Tuning for two builds. Read through the journal and knew, I got to meet this guy. Fast Forward to today and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

John@Corner Speed Tuning has far exceeded my expectations and gone above and beyond, helping me make the right choices to get my car Track ready while maintaining DD duty.

8/16

Spent the Afternoon at the Shop with John. Had my new Tires Hankook RS3 245/40/17 mount on SSR GTV02 17x9.5. And had HT Autos Front Lip installed.

8/17

Got to try out the new set up with a spirited run through LAC. Was blown away, it was like I was driving a new car. The new spring set up and tires eat the corners. Going to be heading up a few more times to adjust, to the new handling.

Nice vehicle! Scrolling down through the journal I literally breathed a sigh of relief that the build was being done by Cornerspeed tuning lol Will be a 15 build done right! You could not have picked a better person to go to to help with your mods!

How are you liking the swift springs? Pros and cons?

Pros
Great upgrade over stock. much firmer with a smoother ride and cornering is ridiculous. Can't wait to get it out on the track.

Cons
Doesn't pair well with stock tires. Ride was a bit bumpy, until I threw on the new Wheels and tires and then it evened out.
