My name is Jason. I was born in Lancaster, CA. I have lived in Lancaster, Palmdale, and now in Lake L.A. I joined the USAF back in Nov 2007, so I am now stationed here in Las Vegas, NV. I have a 2006 Impreza WRX in Gunmetal. Upgrades so far are Greddy BOV, Nvidia DP, Blitz MID-BACK pipe, SPT short ram intake, boost-air fuel gauges, upper front-rear tower bars, Tein springs, painted(black) stock rims(did my self), and tinted windows.

I need a new clutch for my 02 WRX. I'm kinda new to SD, so I'm wondering where is the best place to get a clutch done?
I went to a place called "Elite Subaru" in El Cajone for my timing belt and a few other things, but I felt like I was getting hosed on the price. I did feel the work was quality...so no complaints aside from paying a LOT.

I'm just looking to get a stock clutch, cause I drive it too much to get a performance clutch, and it just has exhaust anyway...

I appreciate any recommendations you all might have!

I got the car for 2k and put about 600 or 700 into it.

i always wanted a STI but i couldn't afford one so this car just fell into my lap. so i sold my 00 civic SI and brought this car. i took the car on a few trips and it drove like a champ, San Diego, Tucson and back to Port Hueneme with a hickup. the more i drive this car the more i love it. I turbo a lot of damn civics but want the awd that the honda couldn't give me.

I briefly talked with someone when I was leaving Bob baker subaru carlsbad the other day and he told me to go on this site and check it out. I didn't catch your name if your reading this but you had a 09 WRX that was dark grey color or something like that. I wanted to say thanks for your suggestion to go on this site, I like it. I am members of Nasioc and Allwheeljunkies and this one rates up there with both of those. So congrats to the creators of this site.:clapper: I look forward to meeting other members at various meets and spirited drives. I will post a pick of my car soon now that I have my wheels re-done.

I just picked up an 05 STi about a month ago and just got a chance to join the forum. This is my first Subaru so I am new to the Subaru community. Looking forward to the ownership of this car since it's the only car I've ever wanted and I'm proud to say that I bought my own STi at the age of 19.

Purchased the car for $19,500. 47,000 miles. 100% bone stock. 1 previous owner/clean carfax. Not one dent, ding, or scratch and the interior is immaculate with no wear at all. Completely flawless!!! Came with stock Silver/Gold BBS rims with tires and STi floormats. The guy I bought it from is a mechanic and he left me a ridiculous notebook in which he wrote down every time he put gas, changed tires, did an oil change, pretty much everything he ever did to the car. He even gave me all the paperwork he got from Subaru when he purchased the car brand new along with the sticker and 3 sets of keys.

I'm very happy with my car and purchase and I'm looking forward to being a part of the Subaru community which I hear is a very friendly and fun one.
