Hey I'm located in san Diego so it would be nice if I could find a subie somewhat close. I'm looking for an 02-05 model and wanting to spend somewhere from 7000-10000. I would like some light mods done not too many but I'm open to whatever. My main concerns would be a clean title, engine and the transmission. But just get at me with what you got and see what's up.

FS (Forester): 1999 Forester S full jdm sti type 2 body conversion, coils, work vsxx 8k obo

I've owned it for 5 months and great amount of money has been spent to get all these rare parts. It has a full type 2 sti body conversion all oem components. So the body has been completely changed to an 01-02 from a 99. It's still in project form due to the fact that it needs to be painted and somethings need to be complete, but it drives great and it's an awesome daily. Something horrible in my life just came up for me and I really need to stop building cars for a while. My life unexpectedly dropped to the floor. I'm looking to get 8k with wheels and 5200 without. I will also entertain trades for a stock Saab 9-2x aero, stock 04 wrx wagon.

Engine:

-Swapped lower mileage ej253 (80,xxx miles) from another forester due to the original engine blowing up because of a headgasket leak.
-Maintainence complete with new NGK sparkplugs, Apexi drop in panel air filter, new O2 sensor, oil change completed.
-Runs great with no issues.

Exterior: All matching type 2 STI parts from the same year STI forester (2001-2002). Everything has been completely swapped including the bumper supports.

-jdm sti front bumper with jdm support and fog light covers
-jdm sti hood with hoodscoop and air dam
-jdm sti rear bumper
-jdm sti grill
-jdm sti headlights with clear corners
-jdm sti side markers (will be installed soon)
-jdm sti side skirts
- rolled fenders using Eastwood fender roller

Interior:
- completely stock with clarion radio
- seat warmers
- all S model goodies

Suspension/wheels:
- apexi exv coilovers
- Work VSXX 18x9 +13 with new 215 40r18 tires. Wheels will only be included if the other car is worth the same.

Drivetrain:

-Sti Group N transmission mount
-new Exedy clutch, throwout bearing, oem retainer clips and pilot bearing.
-new slave cylinder

The bads:

-new carpet and seats wouldn't be too bad other than that everything else is in tact.
-Needs passenger side axle since boot is ripped
-needs whiteline roll center adjusters for bump steer.

It will also come with some usdm parts that have to taken with the car or it's trash.

I'm well aware of the mobile site, but it's pretty tedious to access. Clubroadster uses www.autoguide.com, so I thought I'd suggest that as an alternate means to tapatalk or the mobile site.
